Publics policies
How public policies may favour – or sometimes impede – agroecological transition processes? Public policies operate at multiple levels which makes it difficult to answer this question. ATTER tackles it by combining two key perspectives on the role of public policies: an analysis of agroecological and food transition policies at international, national and regional scales; and an analysis of the effects of public policies (at these different levels) in our 16 Case Studies. ATTER also develops a specific focus on the different types of local food councils that exist in different countries and on how they contribute to policies debates. ATTER organizes “Policy makers workshops” bringing together researchers and actors involved in policy debates and policy making in each country
